Description
Sika® Primer-206 G+P is a black, solvent-based primer that reacts with moisture to form a thin film. This film acts as a bond between the surfaces and the adhesives.
Using
Sika® Primer-206 G+P is used to improve adhesion to substrates such as: float glass, ceramic coatings, plastics, primed and painted surfaces, E-coatings and metals. Please consult the manufacturer’s recommendations and perform tests on original surfaces before using Sika® Primer-206 G+P on materials prone to cracking.
This material is only suitable for experienced professional users. To ensure adhesion and compatibility of the material, tests must be performed on real surfaces and conditions.

IMPORTANTLY
If Sika® Primer-206 G+P is used below 5°C, additional tests under worst case conditions are mandatory.
Sika® Primer-206 G+P is moisture activated. To maintain product quality, it is important to double-close the can with the inner plastic cap immediately after use. After completing the surface pre-treatment operation, the cap should be screwed on. Discard approximately one month after opening if used frequently and two months if used infrequently. The 30 ml bottles are for single use only.
If gelation, separation or significant increase in viscosity is observed, discard the primer immediately.
Never dilute or mix this product with other substances.
When used on transparent or translucent surfaces such as float glass, plastic, etc., UV protection is mandatory.

Application
Shake Sika® Primer-206 G+P thoroughly until the bead starts to move freely. Continue shaking the can of Sika® Primer-206 G+P for another minute and then apply a thin but continuous coat with a brush, felt or foam applicator.
Ideal ambient conditions and surface temperature from 15 ° C to 25 ° C.
Sika® Primer-206 G+P should be applied in one coat. The application rate and method depend on the surface characteristics. Care must be taken to ensure that a single coat provides sufficient coverage.
Close the jar immediately after each use.
