Description
Sika® Aktivator-100 is a colorless, solvent-based adhesion activator that reacts with moisture to form active compounds on the surface. These compounds act as a bond between the surface and primers or sealants/adhesives. Sika® Aktivator-100 is specifically designed for surface preparation prior to the application of Sika 1-component polyurethanes.

Using
Sika® Aktivator-100 is used to improve adhesion to surfaces such as float glass, ceramic coatings, cut surfaces of old polyurethane adhesives and paints. This activator is also suitable for strengthening the adhesion of Sikasil® sealants and adhesives on non-porous surfaces. Consult the manufacturer’s recommendation and carry out tests on original surfaces before using Sika® Aktivator-100 on materials prone to cracking. This material is only suitable for experienced professional users. Testing with actual surfaces and conditions is necessary to ensure adhesion and compatibility of materials.
